Jehovahs Witnesses in USA - prefer a bigger government providing more services and involved in regulating morality.
by Sol Reform injehovahs witnesses in usa - prefer a bigger government providing more services and involved in regulating morality .. interesting that jehovahs witnesses who don't vote, even got on this graph.. " what are the political positions of religions and churches in america?.
this new graph maps the ideologies of 44 different religious groups using data comes from pews religious landscape survey.. this survey included 32,000 respondents.
it asked very specific questions on religion that allow us to find out the precise denomination, church, or religion of each person.. .

What JW's most prefer is that the government keep the peace "in order that we may go on leading a calm and quiet life with full godly devotion and seriousness." (1Tim 2:1,2; Jer 29:7)

the writer of AnointedJW : another master of pomposity?
by opusdei1972 inas i have read before, one of the members of this forum noted that the writer of the website anointedjw is a master of pomposity.
i am not against them, as i am with jw.org (the watchtower society), but i see that they are trying to imitate the language of the old testament prophets.
for instance, this is what they have recently written:.

JW.org to be regarded as fulfillment of the signs of the last days.
by jwfacts ini struggled as a jw to accept that the good news of the kingdom was ever going to be preached in all the inhabited world by jws, as there were many parts of the world with few to no jws.
there are not enough to cover the 3 billion plus people in asia to allow everyone to get a chance to hear the message.
it also was offensive to me that jehovah would kill those billions that had never had a chance to accept the watchtower message.

Why shouldn't Jehovah use man's technology to further His purposes?
I'm sure Paul made good use of the roads that the Romans built, on his missionary journeys.

Question: Is JW religion the most attacked one?
by Da.Furious ini was having a chat with an elder and couple of friends regarding apostates and how to protect ourselves and funnily how to identify them!.
during the discussion the elder mentioned: jehovah's witnesses is most attacked religion in the world.
there are no other religions that are under the spotlight.

Even though I'm a JW, I would say no. The most attacked ones are the ones that are getting slaughtered, like the orthodox christians in the Middle East.

EoM, I have always marched to the beat of a different drummer. I did so when I was raised in the world and I do so now as a JW.
I hope slimboyfat is doing well.

It's not so much that they're afraid. They focus on Christendom because it's the most reprehensible part of Babylon the Great, because it falsely claims to represent Christ. Islam does not, therefore it's a lesser evil.

Go back, Chukky, while you still have time. Nurture a personal relationship with Jehovah. Don't let imperfect JW's stumble you.
